Life is too precious to travel boring paths.
When you choose to liven up your route, the journey becomes less about point A to point B and more about the adventure in between.
While a handful of pleasant roads connect Pennsylvania, there is one with views that far exceed the rest. This route turns a simple drive into an expedition and a normal afternoon into an exceptional outing.
According to a list compiled by LoveExploring, the most beautiful scenic byway in all of Pennsylvania is the Longhouse National Scenic Byway. This road boasts some of the most majestic and picturesque views in the state, seen from the comfort of your vehicle!
Here's what LoveExploring had to say about the most beautiful scenic byway in the entire state:
"Running through the gorgeous Allegheny National Forest, this 36-mile loop is surrounded by towering oak trees and fragrant black cherry. The byway begins at the intersection of Route 321 and Longhouse Drive, and circles the Kinzua Creek arm of the Allegheny Reservoir. There are several picnic areas and campgrounds along the byway as well as exceptional hiking trails, including the Rimrock Overlook and Trail."
