The Subtle Way Kylie Jenner Supported Timothée Chalamet During Award Season

Kylie Jenner is supporting Timothée Chalamet any way she can — even with her fashion choices.

The Kardashians star accompanied Chalamet to multiple shows throughout awards season, staying by his side as he received praise for his lauded roles in A Complete Unknown and Dune: Part Two, but she also subtly supported her boyfriend in a quieter way through the ensembles she wore for the occasion, per People.

In a new interview with Harper's Bazaar, the 27-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder explained why she wore a black Schiaparelli gown during her and Chalamet's red carpet debut as a couple despite wearing several black gowns throughout awards season.

"I think it just like happened that way," she said. "Even, recently I was like, 'I can't wear another black dress.' And then of course the most perfect, gorgeous Schiaparelli black dress shows up."

However, her choice of attire was suited to draw less attention than flashier ensembles as she accompanied the Wonka actor throughout awards season.

"Although these are the most beautiful, iconic gowns that I've been wearing, I think a black dress is also kind of like, not too attention grabbing in the best way," she said. "You can never go wrong with a black dress."

Jenner also went out of her way to not steal the spotlight during Chalamet's big moment at the 2025 Oscars, switching seats with the actor's mother so she could sit by her son during the presentation for best actor.

Last month, a source told People that the couple, who have been linked since 2023, had been "making it work" during the "intense" awards season, adding that Jenner is "truly his biggest fan."
