Brad Pitt is looking ahead to what the future holds as he gets candid about learning from past mistakes.
Pitt spoke with Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of his upcoming film F1: The Movie on Monday (June 9) where shared how the mistakes of his past help guide him toward future successes, per People.
"No matter the mistake, you know, you just learn from it and move on," he said. "It'll lead to the next success."
The 61-year-old Interview with the Vampire actor also explained that as he got older, he learned one of the most important parts of life are being surrounded by the people you love and who love you. The rest will fall into place.
"Really, I think you get to my age and see how important it is to surround yourself with the people you know, the people you love, the people that love you back," he said. "Friends, family, and that's it. From there, we get to go make things. It's a pretty simple, I think, equation."
In May, the Ocean's Eleven star broke his silence months after finalizing his divorce from ex-wife Angelina Jolie, noting that it wasn't "the major of a thing" and was instead a process that was finally "coming to fruition." The exes finalized their divorce in December 2024, eight years after they ended their relationship. They share six children: Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
