It’s March.
Which means we’re far enough from New Year’s motivation… but not quite to spring energy.
If you feel stuck right now — in work, a relationship, a goal, a decision — you’re not broken. You’re just stalled.
Good news: You don’t need a life overhaul.
You need one small move.
Here’s how to get unstuck without blowing up your routine.
Hack #1: Pick ONE Thing (Not Your Whole Life)
Don’t say, “I need to fix everything.”
Instead say:
- “I need to send that email.”
- “I need to schedule that appointment.”
- “I need to have that conversation.”
Stuck usually hides in one avoided action. Find it.
Hack #2: Set a 10-Minute Timer
Momentum loves a deadline.
Tell yourself:
“I’m only working on this for 10 minutes.”
Most of the time, once you start, you’ll keep going.
But even if you don’t? You moved forward.
Hack #3: Make the First Step Smaller Than You Think
Not: “Get in shape.”
But: “Walk around the block.”
Not: “Fix my finances.”
But: “Cancel one subscription.”
Unstuck doesn’t require dramatic energy. It requires doable steps.
Hack #4: Say It Out Loud to Someone
Tell a friend: “I’ve been putting this off.”
That alone reduces the mental weight. Accountability doesn’t need to be intense. It just needs to exist.
Hack #5: Stop Waiting to Feel Motivated
Motivation usually shows up after action — not before.
You don’t need to feel ready.
You just need to begin.
Even awkwardly.
Getting unstuck isn’t about reinvention. It’s about movement. One call. One click. One uncomfortable but necessary step. Onward. Forward. Together.
