Salvation Army Bell Ringing w/Theresa This Saturday

I have my Salvation Army Red Kettle decorated and ready for Celebrity Bell Ringer Day this Saturday, December 1st at the Walmart (market door) at 30729 Lyon Center Drive in New Hudson from 10am til 12 noon! I'm excited because Chelsea and Allyson from Jay Towers in the Morning will be there too!

If you love everything about Christmas (including Detroit's Christmas Station, 100.3 WNIC), come show your support! It's a challenge between media folks that day to see who can raise the most money to do the most good for our communities. Show all of southeast Michigan that WNIC listeners have the biggest hearts!

Did you know that last year, the Salvation Army helped provide more than 2.5 million meals and more than 622,000 nights of shelter to those in need right HERE across metro Detroit? Donations made to the Red Kettle Campaign remain in the area that they are given.

The Salvation Army does more than just feed and shelter ...

If you donate $25, that will provide a child with a winter coat.

$50 helps assist first responders and victims of emergency disasters through the Salvation Army's Emergency Disaster Services.

$75 helps send a child to summer camp through the Salvation Army Outdoors program.

We really hope to see you this Saturday, December 1st at the Walmart in New Hudson from 10am til noon. You can make an AMAZING difference in someone's life by dropping money into my kettle that day.

If you aren't able to come meet with me that day (but I'm really hoping you will!),  you can still help others in need by texting SALMICH to 41444.
