This guy had to call swine-one-one! (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)
One can imagine that the police often get phone-call pleas from people who believe they're being followed. But this was a first for this police department in Ohio.
Early last Saturday morning just before 5:30am, they received a call from a man who was walking and being pursued by a ... pig.At first the cops thought that perhaps this man was a bit intoxicated but upon talking it over, they reasoned he couldn't be THAT drunk if he was able to phone them and so they hopped in their squad car and went to the scene.
Once they arrived they found a very sober male walking from a train station (and not a bar). Sure enough, he was being followed by a four-legged farm animal with a snout.
The officers managed to wrangle the pig, place him in their squad car and return the little porker to his owner.
Now if you're thinking about coming up with something funny to say about a pig in a police car, think again because the North Ridgefield PD has that covered.“We will mention the irony of the pig in a police car now so that anyone that thinks they’re funny is actually unoriginal and trying too hard.”
